Arrest Made for Sexual Misconduct

On November 22nd, 2011, Stone County Sheriffs Detectives, working under the ICAC Tri-Lakes Regional Internet Crime Task Force, met with Greene County Sheriffs Detectives and arrested an individual in Springfield, Mo, in reference to Internet Crimes Against Children.

Nicholas Hornback, a 25 yr old white male from Springfield, Mo, was arrested at his residence in North Springfield. A Stone County Detective was talking with Mr. Hornback on the computer in chat rooms, as the Detective was acting as a 13 yr old female from Stone County. In a period of 6 months Mr. Hornback chatted with the Detective a total of 6 times and on two separate occasions he sent nude photographs of himself to them. After several subpoenas to the Internet providers and several different searches, Mr. Hornback was positively identified.

Nicholas Hornback was transported to the Stone County Jail where he was charged with 2 counts of Sexual Misconduct or Attempt Involving a Child Under 15 - 1st Offense. He remains in the Stone County Jail with a bond of $30,000.00 cash or surety.
