2nd Degree Statutory Sodomy Arrest

PRESS RELEASE 

 

On January 8th, 2012, Deputies were dispatched to a store in Branson West where they were advised a juvenile victim was sexually accosted in the bathroom. 

Upon arrival, they met with Branson West Officers and the victim, a 15 yr old male from the Stone County.  During the investigation, it was determined that an incident had occurred and after reviewing video surveillance from multiple stores, a photo of the suspect and the suspects’ vehicle were obtained. The possible cell number of the suspect was obtained and after using search programs through law enforcement, and later a photo of a possible  suspect was obtained which matched the individual in the  surveillance photos.  The cell phone carrier was then identified and Detectives contacted the Phone Carrier and requested an emergency trace on the phone since a child had been sexually accosted. The Carrier gave a location of the phone to Detectives which was located in Hollister, Missouri. Detectives drove to the address provided and located a vehicle in the drive that matched the vehicle on the surveillance photos.  After meeting with Hollister Police Department, Hollister Officers, along with Stone County Detectives, made contact with the individual at the residence. The individual was the same as the one in the surveillance photos.  The individual was then arrested and transported back to Stone County.  On Monday, January 09th, 2012, Detectives, along with Hollister Officers, conducted a search warrant at the address and recovered the clothes that the suspect was wearing in the surveillance photos.  

On Monday, Kyle Wayne Larue, a 53 yr old male with addresses in Hollister, Missouri, and in Fort Smith, Arkansas, was charged with the following: 

                2nd Degree Statutory Sodomy 

and was given a bond of $15,000.00 cash/surety.  On Tuesday, January 10th, 2012, Mr. Larue posted the bond through a bondsman and was released from custody with pending court dates.
