Saturday evening April 7^th, Stone County Deputies conducted a DWI checkpoint at the intersection of Hwy 76 and Indian Point Rd.  A total number of  336 vehicles traveled through the checkpoint. 

The result of the checkpoint consisted of a total of 4 arrest.  1 arrest for Driving While Intoxicated/Possession of Controlled Substance, 1 warrant arrest, 1 arrest for Possession of Controlled Substance and 1 arrest of an illegal immigrant. 

A total of 8 Uniform Traffic Tickets were issued.  3 for no insurance, 4 for Driving While Revoked, and 1 for Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle.
