Drug Investigation- Teresa Davis

On Wednesday, March 20th, Stone County Deputies along with the COMET Drug Task Force served a search warrant at 2086 Nightshade Blvd, Galena, Missouri.  During the execution of the search warrant Teresa Lynn Davis, a 52 yr old female, was taken in custody.  The warrant was based on an ongoing joint investigation conducted by the COMET Drug Task Force and the Stone County Sheriff’s Office.

During the execution of the warrant over 3 ounces of marijuana was confiscated.  When the warrant was served there were several people at the residence, including three young children.  Another male, Thomas M. Carney, a 27 yr old white male from Aurora, was arrested on an outstanding property damage warrant out of Barry County. Thomas Carney was taken to the Stone County Jail and booked on the outstanding warrant.  Teresa Davis was taken to the Stone County Jail where she was booked on Possession of Marijuana and Child Endangerment.  Also in the residence were items of paraphernalia used in the smoking of marijuana.  On Thursday, March 21st, the Stone County Prosecutor filed the following charges on Teresa Davis:

Class B Felony Dist/Del/Manf/Produce or Attempt to Dist/Del/Manf/Produce A Controlled Substance

Class C Felony Endangering the Welfare of a Child- 1st Degree

Teresa Davis currently remains incarcerated at the Stone County jail on a bond of $50,000.00 Cash or Surety.  Thomas Carney was transferred to Barry County on March 21st.
