Shooting in Northern Stone County
On Sunday, April 13th, 2014, at approx 5:45 PM, Stone County Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the North Part of Stone County off State Highway M for the report of a gunshot. When they arrived on scene, they observed a male individual lying in the living room floor with a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim, a 56 yr old white male was determined to be deceased after medical personnel arrived on scene.
The case is still an active investigation and names will be released after notification of relatives.
