On January 5th, 2016, Deputies from Stone County Sheriff’s Office, Reeds Spring Police Department and Mo Division of Family Services investigated the death of a 13 month old male child in Reeds Spring, Missouri.  An Autopsy was performed on the child.  Over the last few months a joint investigation has been conducted by the Stone County Sheriff’s Office, Reeds Spring Police Department and Mo Division of Family Services into the death of the child. 

On April 1st, 2016, Prosecuting Attorney Matt Selby filed the following charges on the parents.

Joshua Jackson, a 38 yr old white male from Reeds Spring, Mo, charged with:

                Class C Felony 1st Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child 1st Offense

                Class C Felony Involuntary Manslaughter

                Class A Felony Child Abuse or Neglect

 

Bambi Jackson, a 33 yr old white female from Reeds Spring, charged with:

 

                Class C Felony 1st Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child 1st Offense

                Class C Felony Involuntary Manslaughter

                Class A Felony Child Abuse or Neglect

 

Bond on both individuals was set at $75,000.00 Cash or Surety each.

 

Both individuals are currently incarcerated at the Stone County Jail.
