PRESS RELEASE: 09-23-22

On the afternoon of September 22, 2022, The Stone County Sheriff's office participated in the investigation of a suspicious package being shipped from a fictitious address in California to a post office box at the Reeds Spring, Missouri Post office with the United States Postal Service and the Reeds Spring Police Department.

As a result of this investigation, Cody Sanford (23 years of age) of Branson, and Erin Whitney (33 years of age) of Kimberling City, were arrested in possession of approximately 3 grams of fentanyl.

The two are currently being held in the Stone County Jail on TRAFFICKING 2nd DEGREE.
