On October 18th, 2010, Stone County Detectives, along with Green County Detectives, executed an arrest warrant on Robert Taylor Lowery, a 25 yr old male who lives on South Avenue in Springfield, Mo.

Robert Lowery was targeted during an internet investigation which spanned approximately six months. During those six months, Robert Lowery had made contact with an undercover deputy posing as a 13 year old female, and solicited sexual favors from her. There were approximately ten different exchanges during the six month investigation, on both internet chat rooms and from text messaging from a cell phone.

Robert Lowery was arrested on a warrant signed by a Stone County Judge for three counts of Enticement of a Child, Mo RSMO 576-151. The charge carries a minimum sentence of 5 yrs and not more than 30 years if convicted. Robert Lowery was transported and booked into the Stone County Jail where he posted bond of $50,000.00 C/S.

The Stone County Sheriff's Office has arrested approximately 34 offenders for this type of crime since it started the program two years ago.
