At approximately 1:39 AM this date, Stone County E911 received a call from an individual on Hoot Owl Point in the Kimberling City area in reference to a home invasion. The male caller stated that a white male entered his residence and displayed a silver colored revolver demanding money and pills. The caller stated that the intruder struck him in the face with the weapon.
After the intruder was given a quantity of cash and pills, the intruder left in a small vehicle with loud exhaust.
As Stone County Deputy Vinnie Jacobson was responding to the victim's home, he met the suspect vehicle on Joe Bald Rd. Deputy Jacobson turned around on the vehicle and with the help of a Kimberling City Police Officer was able to make a traffic stop and they took two individuals into custody.
The weapon used by the intruder and a quantity of cash was recovered from the vehicle. A 24 year old white, male from Lampe, Mo and a 38 year old white, male from Notch, MO were taken into custody and transported to the Stone County Jail. Charges are expected to be filed later this date.
