Stone County Deputies travelled to St. Louis, MO on Thursday with an arrest warrant for a suspect related to our ongoing internet sting operation.
Arrested was a Michael Anthony Barbarotta, a white, male, age 27, listing an address in St. Louis.
Mr. Barbarotta has been charged with the following:
2 counts of Enticement of a Child-Actor
3 counts of Sexual Misconduct involving a Child Under 14
Bond has been set at $150,000 Cash
Barbarotta, is currently housed in the Stone County Jail

Barbarotta made contact with a Stone County Deputy posing as an underage female on an internet "chat room". First contact was in October of 2008. Barbarotta stated he was a body builder living in the St. Louis area. During the course of this investigation, Barbarotta used his web cam on four occasions, where at least on 2 of those occasions his exposed himself to the deputy.
