Stone County Investigators traveled to Sedalia, Mo yesterday, Wednesday, with an arrest warrant for an Anthony John Hake, a white, male, age 25.

 

Mr. Hake was arrested in reference to the ongoing internet chat room operation being conducted by a Stone County Deputy posing as an underage female.

 

Contact was made with Mr. Hake in September of 2008, where he fondled himself in front of his web cam.

 

Hake has been charged with one count of:

 

Sexual Misconduct or Attempted Involving a Child under 15- Class D Felony

 

Hake is currently being held in the Stone County Jail with a bond of $50,000 Cash.

 

Stone County is currently a member of the Tri-Lakes Regional Internet Crimes Task Force.  This Task Force consists of members from Taney, Stone, and Barry County Sheriff’s Office, Branson Police Department, Marionville Police Department and Cassville Police Department.  Funding for this project is through a 2009 Internet Cyber Crime Grant (ICCG), which has provides training, equipment to assist in cyber crimes as well as monies for salaries of some employees.
