Stone County Investigators served an arrest warrant for a Shawn Jackson, currently incarcerated at the Christian County Jail on unrelated charges.

Mr. Jackson was arrested in reference to the ongoing internet chat room operation being conducted by a Stone County Deputy posing as an underage female.

Contact was first made with Mr. Jackson in August of 2008 where he approached the Deputy in a chat room, and utilized a web cam. Communications continued under a few different identities through the end of March 2009.

Mr. Jackson also arranged to meet our Deputy posing as an underage female on two occasions, but never appeared at the designated meeting place.

Jackson has been charged with:

3 Counts of Enticement of a Child (actor 21 yrs of age or older and child less than 15 yrs of age)
- Felony

1 Count of Sexual Misconduct or Attempted Involving a Child under 15- Class D Felony

Jackson is currently being held in the Christian County Jail with a bond of $50,000 Cash Only.

Stone County is currently a member of the Tri-Lakes Regional Internet Crimes Task Force.
