On Wednesday, December 16, 2009, Stone County Deputies arrested Travis J. Winfree, male, white, age 38 of Crane, Mo for making a Terrorist Threat.

The Stone County Sheriff's Office had received a complaint from the Hurley School District Superintendent stating that Mr. Winfree had made threats of coming to the school with a firearm and "shooting up the school".

After an investigation by Stone County deputies, Mr. Winfree was arrested and booked into the Stone County Jail. Winfree has been charged with Making a Terrorist Threat, a Class C Felony. Bond was set at $100,000 Cash Only.
