Stone County deputies traveled to Kansas City Thursday, December 17th and arrested James C. Walker, a white male, age 41 on 4 counts of Enticement of a Child, an unclassified felony.

Walker had been the target of the continued undercover investigation into internet child crimes. This investigation had been ongoing for approximately 12 months, where during the course of conversations with Walker, he attempted to talk the undercover deputy who he thought was a minor female, to run away and meet him.

Walker was arrested at his home without incident. During the search of his residence, illegal weapons were located which were turned over to the Kansas City Police Department.

Walker was booked on $25,000 bond, and has since bonded out of the Stone County Jail.
