On Wednesday, March 9th, 2011, Stone County Detectives, working with the Tri-Lakes Internet Crimes Task Force, arrested 41 yr old Michael Allen Rogers from Blue Eye, Missouri. 

A short investigation occurred after they were contacted by the West Plains Police Department in reference to the subject.   West Plains Police Department submitted information to Stone County referencing the individual was trying to solicit a minor child in their area and wanted assistance from the ICAC Tri-Lakes Internet Crimes Task Force. During the Stone County investigation, Michael Rogers sent pornographic images to an undercover detective who was acting as a 13 yr old female.   There were approximately three contacts between Michael Rogers and the detective.  Michael Rogers was arrested charged with one count of Sexual Misconduct with a child under 15 (Class D Felony) and currently remains incarcerated at the Stone County Jail on a bond of $25,000.00 Cash.  

This is one of many individuals who have been arrested by the Stone County Sheriff's Office and the Tri-Lakes Regional Internet Crimes Task Force in a continuing effort to protect the children of Stone County and the surrounding area.
