News Release

Saturday evening between 8:00 PM and 2:00 AM Sunday morning, the Stone County Sheriff's Office and the Branson West Police Department conducted a Sobriety Checkpoint at 16838 Missouri Highway 13.

During the hours of operation of the checkpoint, approximately 380 vehicles drove through the checkpoint. A total of 10 were arrested for the following:

Susan Applegate, age 59, Shell Knob, MO - Possession of Illegal Weapon - $25,000 cash bond

Angela Meyers, age 30, Harrison, AR - Possession of Illegal Weapon - $25,000 cash bond

Donald Meyers, age 56, Green Forrest, AR - Possession of Illegal Weapon - $25,000 cash bond

Nathan Meyers, age 24, Kimberling City, MO - Possession of Illegal Weapon - $25,000 cash bond

Christy Strickland, age 22, Harrison, AR - Possession of Illegal Weapon - $25,000 cash bond

David Schicker, age 20, St. Louis, MO - Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Use of a Weapon Driving While Suspended, Minor In Possession of Alcohol
No Insurance -

Michael Paulsen, age 48, Reeds Spring, MO - Driving While Intoxicated

William Paulsen, age 22, Perry, IA - Possession of 35 g or less marijuana

Joshua Thomas, age 20, Kimberling City, MO - Warrant Arrest for Minor in Possession of Alcohol

Ferd Wise, age 72, Driving While Intoxicated

All subjects with a posted bond are still incarcerated at the Stone County Jail.
