On Saturday June 18, 2011 the Stone County Sheriffs Office conducted a Sobriety Checkpoint at 16838 Missouri Highway 13. The checkpoint was operational between the hours of 9:00 pm and 2:00 am. 

There were approximately 620 motor vehicles that passed through the checkpoint during the operational hours. There were a total of four subjects arrested which are as follows:

Michael Shane, age 53, of Kimberling City, MO - Driving While Intoxicated – released with tickets after hold time expired.

Denis Clough, age 51, of Springfield, MO - Driving While Intoxicated $2,000 Cash or Surety Bond 

Steven Weyher, age 67, of Branson, MO - Driving While Intoxicated $2,000 Cash or Surety Bond 

Johnny Collier, age 27, of Reeds Spring, MO - Warrant Arrest for Failed to Show Proof of Insurance out of Webb City $500 Cash or Surety Bond.     

All subjects with a bond amount have posted it, and all subjects have been released.
