On Thursday, August 12th, 2010, Stone County Detectives, along with Green County Sheriff's Today, Stone County Deputies attempted to serve “Arrest Warrants” on ten individuals. These warrants were issued by the Stone County Prosecutor for “Failing to Register As a Sex Offender”.

A briefing was held at 6 am at the Stone County Sheriff’s Office and two man teams attempted to serve the warrants. As of the time of this release, only four (4) individuals had been located and brought to the Stone County Jail. They are as follows:

Steven Lloyd Pritchett, white, male, dob 7-10-77 of Blue Eye
Patricia Marie Smith, white, female, dob 11-26-67, of Reeds Spring
Flint Brady Overton, white, male, dob 7-20-82
John Joseph Casillas, white, male, dob 12-24-69

Bond was set at $5000 cash or surety on all subjects.

A forth individual was arrested for Failure to Register As a Sex Offender and brought in on Probable Cause. That case will be presented to the Prosecutor for charges later this date.

We are currently still trying to locate the following individuals:

Alfred C. Bailey, white, male, dob 5-27-47
Francisco Gomez Jr, white, male, dob 12-07-51
Nathan Briggs, white, male, dob 7-22-77
Troy Dean Essary, white, male, dob 8-21-78
Tracy Lee Haddock, white, male, dob 3-28-72
Jess Willard Cypret, white, male, 11-14-77

These individuals currently are “Registered Sex Offenders”, however, when they registered with the Sheriff’s Office, they failed to provide information as to their “Social Networking Sites”, which is required by law.

After these arrest were made, deputies attempted to make contact with all of the Stone County Registered Sex Offenders to verify their address and to remind them of the laws regarding giving out candy during Halloween. Any of the individuals that had moved from the address that they gave when they registered are in violation of state statute, and a warrant will be requested from the Prosecutors Office for those individuals.
