Crime Map Details

The reporting party stated that his husband (referred to as subject) had choked him and punched him in the lip. The deputy observed a slight redness on the victim's neck, as well as a busted lip. The deputy observed a strong odor of alcoholic intoxicants coming off of the victim's breath.

The subject said that he and his husband were arguing, and he was trying to get RP to go to bed; he stated that the RP was calling him a whore and a list of other names that he could not recall. The subject said that in the process of the RP calling him a whore, the RP bit him on the bottom of his right forearm. The subject said that's when he pushed the RP off of himself in self-defense against the bite; that push is also what busted RP's lip. The subject said that the RP then punched him in the head. Neither the RP nor the subject would explain in further detail what led up to the RP biting the subject, except for the name-calling. The deputy did observe the bite mark on the bottom of the subject's forearm. The deputy also observed a strong odor of alcoholic intoxicants coming off of the subject, as well. Both parties denied medical. The deputy informed the RP and subject of the process of filing for an ex-parte. 

A probable cause statement was submitted to the Stone County Prosector's Office.
