OFFENCE: TAMPERING WITH MOTOR VEHICLE - 1ST DEGREE

The reporting party stated that in September 2009, the suspect came to her home to purchase a vehicle from her daughter. The suspect asked if the 2004 Porshe Cayenne SUV was for sale. The RP told him it was for $9000.00, the suspect gave the RP a check for $9000.00 and when the RP went to cash it the check came back no good on a closed banking account. The RP stated that the suspect sold the vehicle to a man that lives in West Plains, Missouri. The suspect is on court commit at the Stone County Jail.
