Saturday evening June 16^th, Stone County Deputies conducted a DWI in the area of Dewey Short Center and State Highway 265. A total number of 618 vehicles traveled through the checkpoint.

The results of the checkpoint consisted of 2 arrests. 1 Arrest was made for Driving While Intoxicated and 1 warrant arrest was made.

A total of 8 Uniform Traffic Tickets were issued. 2 For no insurance, 4 for Minor In Possession of Alcohol, and 2 for Driving While Suspended.
