On Sunday, April 21^st, at approximately 7 pm, Stone County Emergency Services 911 received a call in reference to an altercation between two males occurring in Branson West.  Deputies from Stone County and Officers from Branson West Police Department responded to 128 Fritts Way where they located a Hispanic male who was a victim of a gunshot to his lower leg.  The suspect, another Hispanic male, had already fled the scene before their arrival.  The victim was transported to Cox South Hospital by Mercy Ambulance where he was treated for his injuries.

Detectives contacted the surrounding Counties about the incident and gave a vehicle description and suspect information.  At approximately 9 pm, Green County Deputies apprehended the suspect on Interstate 44.  He was then transported back to Stone County where he is currently incarcerated on an Investigative Hold. 

An affidavit has been presented to the Prosecuting Attorney and we expect charges later this afternoon.
