The President of the Stone County Publishing Inc., met with investigators from the Stone County Sheriff's Office in reference to a discovery through an internal audit that indicated two employees had appropriated a large amount of money from the company. They requested that criminal charges be pursued.

The investigation determined that between approximately 2008 through March of 2010 the two employees working together, had stolen roughly $ 36,700.00.

Stone County Sheriff's Office Investigators presented the case to the prosecuting attorney's office who issued warrants for their arrest on charges of Felony Stealing which is a Class C Felony. Bond was set at $5,000 cash or surety.

Pamelia Davis, age 48 of Shell Knob Missouri turned herself in and posted bond.

Janet Gilbert, age 46 of Crane Missouri appeared before the judge and was fingerprinted and released.
