Clandestine Lab located in Reeds Spring

PRESS RELEASE
On July 18th, Stone County Sheriffs Deputies were informed of a possible methamphetamine lab in operation in the Reeds Spring area of Stone County. The report stated that there were two children present at the residence while the lab was operational.
Deputies responded to the address, 21 Yocum Pond Road, and made contact with occupants of the residence, 42 yr old Ricky G. Nelson and 43 yr old Tracy L. Nelson. The Deputies were allowed to enter the residence and spoke to Tracy and Ricky. Upon investigating the report, a methamphetamine lab was located in the rear bedroom of the trailer. Both Ricky and Tracy were arrested and transported to the Stone County Jail. The lab was turned over to the COMET Drug Task Force who processed the scene and dismantled the lab.
There were two minor children present at the residence, an 11 yr old male and a 9 yr old female. They were turned over to the Stone County Division of Family Services.
On July 19th, Stone County Prosecutor Matt Selby filed felony charges based on reports submitted to him. They were both charged with the following:
Dist/Del/Manf/Produce or Attempt to or Possess W/Intent to Dist/Del/Manf/Produce a Controlled Substance Class B Felony RSMO 195.211
Two Counts of Endangering Welfare of a Child 1st Degree Class C Felony RSMO 568.045
Both Ricky Nelson and Tracy Nelson are incarcerated at the Stone County Jail on a bond of $75,000 cash only.
